Which Is The Best DNS for Secure Browsing: CloudFlare, Quad9, NextDNS, and AdGuard DNS

There is a screenshot from PerfOps that measures DNS resolver latency for all common providers. AdGuard is 2nd worst on the list only to SafeDNS. Disable DNS protection at Settings > DNS, or try switching to a different DNS server. Go to Settings > Network and uncheck Use WFP network driver, then reboot.
